ADHD awareness month Meditation reset workshop
I

I’m sure you’re already aware that in this present age of social media, smart phones and on-demand entertainment, students are fighting a constant battle to keep their focus on their studies. Attention Deficit traits are becoming more common in young people whether they have a diagnosis or not, and this often manifests as an inability to focus or stay on task, impulsive and disruptive behaviour or emotional dysregulation and overwhelm. But many people don’t know that there are some very simple meditation tools which are scientifically supported to help develop skills of focus, calm and mental regulation.
As part of ADHD awareness month, we’re offering schools across Gloucestershire a free taster of our program The Meditation Reset - a bespoke meditation workshop for students and staff which aims to teach these simple mindfulness hacks to help students regain control of their attention networks.
Workshops are led by myself and my colleague Will Fraser - we’re both experienced teachers and school leaders with over 45 years experience between us working, as well as certified meditation instructors with the British School of Meditation. Each session is completely bespoke and can be deployed with groups of any age, or educational needs.
To mark our launch, we’re offering a free taster workshop on a first-come, first-served basis. All we ask in return is honest feedback after the session and, if you find the session valuable, a short testimonial.
Attached is a short video in which myself and Will introduce ourselves https://youtu.be/LqwKKrVHo2k If this is something you would like to take us up on, the first step is to arrange a free Zoom meeting with us to discuss your needs and how we could help your school to take on this emerging and ever-growing issue.
We look forward to discussing this further with you.
